With deep sorrow and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Luis Armando Torres who was born on December 5, 1935, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 23, 2026. He lived a long and meaningful life filled with love for his family, dedication to those around him, and a passion for sports that brought him endless joy. A true fan of all sports, baseball held a special place in his heart. Whether watching a game, talking statistics, or cheering for his favorite team, he found happiness in the spirit of competition and the memories sports created.

Above all, he will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, sense of humor, and the love he shared with family and friends. His presence brought comfort and strength to those who knew him, and his legacy will continue through the countless lives he touched. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will forever cherish the lessons, memories, and unconditional love he gave so freely. Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing he passed peacefully and lived a life rich with experiences, laughter, and love. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. “Play ball” may have been a phrase he loved, but now heaven has gained its greatest fan.
