In Loving Memory of Diego Villamil
October 2, 1941 — April 10, 2026
With love and sadness, we remember Diego Villamil, who passed away peacefully at the age of 84.
Born in Cali, Colombia, he was a man full of life, joy, and character. Known for his humor and unforgettable stories from his time in the military and as a driver, he had a unique way of making others laugh. Throughout his life, he had many experiences, but he always made it clear that his one true love was his wife.
He found joy in simple moments—dancing, spending time together, and watching movies, especially musicals. He loved classics like Back to the Future, Delta Force, Coming to America, and The Honeymooners. Movies were one of his greatest passions, creating joyful memories.
He experienced meaningful moments—walking his daughter down the aisle, laughter-filled drives, and fulfilling his dream of seeing ABBA in concert with his wife.
A man of faith, he was a devoted Catholic who believed in the Sacred Heart of Jesus. His life was marked by love and joy.
His spirit lives on.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”— 2 Timothy 4:7-8
